In this month’s excursion, the MAA office visited our project at Leith Hill Place. Despite threatening rain and a descending mist blocking the amazing view from one of the highest points in Surrey, we had an enjoyable time walking the scaffolding and learning about the history of this house that once was home to composer Ralph Vaughan Williams and had connections to the Wedgwood family.
