Conservation Architect.

Zanna Krzyzanowska

BA(Hons), MArchD, PGDip Professional Practice, ARB, RIBA. 

Zanna joined MAA as a Part II Architectural Assistant in August 2022, bringing four years of practical experience in diverse projects, from commercial to residential and public spaces, including refurbishment and adaptive reuse of Listed Buildings. While studying for her Masters, she specialised in Architectural Regeneration and Development. Zanna has a keen interest in traditional building crafts, and hands-on experience in stained-glass repair and conservation.

Since joining MAA, Zanna has honed her skills in historic conservation, actively contributing to projects such as Leith Hill Place, RBG Kew Wakehurst, Old Royal Naval College, and St Bartholomew the Great. In 2023, she successfully completed her Part 3 studies at the University of Westminster becoming a registered Architect.

Beyond her contributions to project work, Zanna is an associate lecturer at Oxford Brookes University, where she pursues her interests in heritage academically. Currently she teaches on the MArchD course and is engaged in research projects.
