Conservation Architect.
Beata Cachovanova
ARB. RIBA.
Beata joined Martin Ashley Architects in 2024. She holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urban Design from the Slovak University of Technology, equivalent to the UK Part II qualification. She completed her Part III studies at Kingston University in 2023 and became a chartered Architect in the UK.
Beata has a wealth of experience spanning across all project stages. She worked on a range of projects including commercial, high-end residential as well as ecclesiastical, most of which involved buildings with a Listed status.
Her interest in conservation started very early on during her architectural studies, and her first professional experience was with a government organisation looking after the historic environment in Slovakia.
She has a continued interest in traditional building techniques and crafts. This led Beata to working as a traditional signwriter in Ireland, creating hand-painted and gilded signs, prior to settling in the UK
