Join Our Team – Vacancies for Part 2 Architect/Technician and Project Architect/Surveyor
We are looking for a project architect/surveyor with a minimum of 4 years post qualification UK experience, with job running responsibility, excellent project management and client facing skills, knowledge and familiarity with JCT and NEC3 contracts, interested in surveying, excellent detailing, fine craftsmanship and achieving work of very high quality to join our busy team. Familiarity with Autocad, experience and passion for historic building conservation are essential; full UK driving licence desirable. Responsibilities will include both working from the office and scheduling, coordinating, inspecting and administering works onsite. The ability to liaise with and manage contractors, resolve issues practically and proactively, monitor and report on progress/expenditure of projects will need to be proven. The successful candidate will initially be appointed on a fixed term full time contract of one year, however it is hoped that within this period the position will become permanent. The salary will be within the recommended range for those qualified to RIBA Part 3/RICS scales based on required experience.
We are also looking to recruit an RIBA Part II Architectural Assistant/Architectural Technician with excellent CAD skills to support conservation architects and surveyors in the creation of CAD drawings and schedules for various projects from feasibility through to construction. Excellent English and good working knowledge of UK building regulations essential. The successful candidate will initially be appointed on a fixed term full time contract of one year, however it is hoped that within this period the position will become permanent. The salary will be within the recommended range for those qualified to RIBA Part 2/CIAT scales based on required experience.
