Practice Operations and Marketing Manager

Stella Cochrane

Stella joined MAA in 2026 as Practice Operations and Marketing Manager. Stella is a marketing and communications professional with over sixteen years’ experience across multiple industries and international markets, combining strategic, creative and operational expertise.

Stella holds a History BA from the University of Sussex and a postgraduate diploma in Paper Conservation from the University of the Arts London, with early career experience working at Donald Insall Associates before moving to structural engineer AKT II. Following this, Stella took a break from the built environment living in Singapore and working with hospitality brands and retail start-ups for four years, before returning to the UK in 2019. Following Covid, she worked for award winning architects, AHMM as a Communications Specialist.

Stella is also a trustee of climate charity Trash Hero UK and has volunteered with organisations such as the V&A, Imperial War Museum, Avon Needs Trees and StreetGoat. She was an active member of AHMM’s partnership group, supporting fundraising, donation matching and long term strategic collaboration, as well as social value pro bono work in the sector.
