The Painted Hall won three awards at the 2020 Civic Trust Awards – the only project in the history of this prestigious awards programme to have ever done so
As well as a Civic Trust National Award, The Painted Hall was received a Civic Trust Highly Commended Award in the Civic Trust AABC Conservation category, in recognition of its status as a project that demonstrates the highest standards in historic building conservation and makes a significant contribution to the quality and appearance of the built environment. The Painted Hall also received a Civic Trust Highly Commended Award in the Selwyn Goldsmith Awards, which are given to projects that demonstrate excellent universal design principles.
