Progress made at Clifford’s Tower

Our investigation works for English Heritage are in progress and moving forward at Clifford’s Tower, a historically significant landmark overlooking Old York. During this important process we have been lucky enough to bring visitors closer to our work through public tours on the scaffold. We also investigated the Heraldic Plaques to the front of the Tower, which shows the Royal Arms of King Charles II and the Arms of Henry Clifford, Earl of Cumberland.
