New Understanding at Hampton Court Palace – ASCHB Transactions
The 2014 volume of Transactions of ASCHB (the Assocation for Studies in the Conservation of Historic Buildings) features a learned article by Andrew Harris (Associate, Martin Ashley Architects) on new knowledge revealed as part of his ongoing building conservation and repair work at Hampton Court Palace. In particular, Andrew’s article details a series of discoveries which are shedding new light on the Tudor chronology of Hampton Court, and give rise to interesting and challenging question about how such discovered can be made, recorded and applied.
