This week, the MAA team spent a day attending a course by Charles Brooking, an architectural historian and consultant specialising in period building details.

In his teaching gallery, we were granted access to a remarkable collection of salvaged architectural details. We delved deep into the history of doors and windows, tracing the evolution of these elements from the 16th century to the present day.
